How is Laser Lipo with Fat Transfer Performed?

Our laser liposuction with fat transfer process is performed as an outpatient procedure in both our Carmel and Terre Haute, IN offices in one session. First, we'll get your body ready for the treatment by cleaning and sanitizing both treatment areas. We will then give you anesthesia and have you relax in one of our comfortable treatment rooms while we perform the procedure. We will insert a cannula into the fat-removal area, and using the Alma BeautiFill technology, we will extract, process, and purify the fat, then transfer it into the injection site. While it depends on the areas being treated, you can expect the procedure to take around 1 – 2 hours. Once the procedure is complete, we will get you cleaned up and ready to move on with your day.

What Can I Expect After My Laser Lipo with Fat Transfer?

One of the benefits of our laser liposuction with fat transfer process is it is much more effective and faster than traditional liposuction. Once we get your procedure completed, you'll be out of our office with far less bruising and swelling than traditional liposuction. You will likely experience some redness and swelling, but it should not last long. If you received a small transfer (for example, plumping up your lips), your healing period will likely only be around 1 – 2 days; however, larger areas, like your breasts, butt, and abdomen, can require a week or slightly longer before you may be ready to return back to work.
