We insert a pellet—about the size of a grain of rice—below the skin via a small incision, typically made somewhere along the hip. Once inserted, the pellet dissolves, releasing vital hormones into your body. Patients often report a noticeable improvement anywhere between 3 to 4 months, with most experiencing results after their second hormone therapy session.
