What are the steps of a vampire facial?

We always start with a full consultation. This allows our team to get to know you and your goals while examining your skin. It’s also your opportunity to ask us any questions you may have about the process. Once you’re ready for treatment, we take a small sample of your blood. Spinning this sample in a centrifuge extracts the platelet-rich plasma (PRP), a key source of growth factors, which your skin needs to thrive. We provide you with topical numbing cream before we begin the microneedling process. As the tiny needles sink into your skin, they inject small amounts of PRP beneath the surface, encouraging your cells to grow faster and healthier. As a result, your skin’s texture and tightness improve, giving you a naturally rejuvenated glow.

How many vampire facial sessions will I need?

To achieve full results, most patients require 3 to 4 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. These breaks allow your skin to recover, improving the benefits as treatment continues. Once your treatment series is complete, you can expect smooth skin to last for 12 to 18 months. If you wish to extend results beyond this time, you may need to return for maintenance sessions.

What should I do before and after my session?

To prepare for a vampire facial, you should stop using retinoids and exfoliants 5 to 7 days before your visit. 3 to 5 days prior to your session, you should also stop taking blood thinners like aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, and vitamin E. Stay hydrated and avoid alcohol for best results, and be sure to arrive for your appointment with clean skin. After your facial, you’ll need to stay out of the sun, avoid heat sources like saunas and rigorous exercise, and wear sunscreen to protect your skin. You should also steer clear of exfoliants and other harsh chemicals.
