What is the O-Shot?
As the body ages, it's very common for women to begin to experience symptoms of sexual dysfunction, such as decreased sensation, vaginal dryness, and painful intercourse. Fortunately, the O-Shot is specifically designed with vaginal rejuvenation in mind. Also known as the orgasm shot, this minimally invasive treatment utilizes platelet-rich plasma (PRP) from the patient's own body in order to encourage the body's natural healing system. Once the procedure is complete, many patients of Body Bar MD report greater sexual stimulation, as well as more frequent and powerful orgasms. Our staff in Carmel, IN can help you revitalize your life in the bedroom using just this one simple injection.

Is the O-Shot Right for Me?
Typically, the O-Shot is considered to be a great option for any woman hoping to increase their sexual function. Additionally, we have found this treatment to be especially useful in patients who are experiencing:
- Aged or wrinkled vulva
- Decreased sex drive
- Insufficient vaginal lubrication
- Unfulfilling or no orgasms
- Limited arousal from clitoral stimulation
- Loose vaginal skin and/or muscles
- Pain during intercourse
- Urinary incontinence
How Does the O-Shot Work?
Before your injection, our staff will draw a sample of blood from your arm. This blood will then be transferred to a centrifuge, which acts to separate out the beneficial growth factors in order to create the PRP serum. Once this process is complete, we'll use a topical anesthetic in order to ensure you remain comfortable during the injection. A fine needle will then be inserted into the upper vaginal area, injecting PRP into the region. In total, this treatment usually takes about 15 – 30 minutes.
What Results Can I Expect from the O-Shot?
There is virtually no downtime or recovery associated with the O-Shot. Patients will be free to return to their normal, everyday lives at the immediate conclusion of the treatment. However, we do ask for patients to avoid strenuous activities, like exercise and intercourse, for about 24 hours in order to allow your body to heal. It's not uncommon for some women to experience a bit of swelling and/or bruising in the days after the procedure. This is entirely normal and will subside on its own within just a short while. Results are typically noticeable a week after the procedure once the vaginal tissue has begun to regenerate. Most patients will see the final results of the O-Shot about three months after their injection. In many cases, these results can last for 1 – 3 years though they can vary from one patient to another.
